Inspired by Karl Blossfeldt

I was inspired to create these images by Karl Blossfeldt (1865 – 1932) , a German photographer and sculptor, who became particularly well known for his strictly formal plant photographs. He became famous with his first book, “Urformen der Kunst” published in 1928. Shortly before his death, the illustrated book “Wundergarten der Natur” was published in 1932. I also made a zine out of these photos.
