The Konica Hexanon AR 50mm was a very good standard lens for the Konica SLR cameras of that time in the 70s of the last century .

In keeping with the times, it is an exclusively manually focusing lens without autofocus.

There were several optically identical variants of the Hexanon AR 50mm 1.7. The Hexanon used for the following pictures was manufactured in 1975 and has a close focus distance of 45 cm and click stops between the full aperture values. A later variant has the larger closest focusing distance 55 cm. It also lacks the click stops between the full aperture values. Instead, it is shorter and lighter.
